Get ready for an extraordinary night to remember benefitting VS and our Youth Education programs!

Our annual Spectacular Spring Gala is back this year on Friday April 11 at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. This year we welcome phenomenal Canadian pianist Angela Hewitt as our featured guest artist. Angela will play an intimate private recital of some of her favourite pieces.

Join fellow guests and members of the orchestra for an elegant black tie evening, gourmet dinner and fine wines, live auction, and some of Angela’s favourite music.

Most importantly, you will be part of supporting VS and our Youth Education programs. We believe that music is essential in our lives and vital to a well-rounded education for young people. As part of our commitment to building a strong community, our Youth Education programs provide free and accessible music education and experiences to thousands of children and youth in our community.

Cash Appeals Our Goal
Support Concerts in Schools
We believe that every child, regardless of their circumstance, should have the opportunity to experience the power of live music. That's why we've developed our Concerts in Schools program - a program that brings the joy of live orchestral music directly into school gyms and classrooms in our community. It's an incredible program that exposes their young minds to live music in a engaging and inspiring way, encouraging them to think of music differently: as a pathway to their own creativity, as a way to communicate, and as a way to connect.

This year we face a challenge that threatens the continuation of this program. A key funder who has supported the Concert in Schools program for several years is no longer able to continue their support. That leaves a significant gap in our ability to bring this life-changing program to local schools next season.

With your help we aim to raise $30,000 to ensure the Concerts in Schools program can continue. It's not just about keeping the 'lights on' for the program - it's about ensuring that thousands of Victoria students will have the chance to experience the magic of music next season.

As you know, music isn’t just entertainment; it’s a tool for learning, developing empathy, and building critical thinking skills. Please help support this vital program in our community.
