Support the arts and celebrate Dance Victoria's 29th season of the World's Best Dance! An important aspect of Dance Victoria's annual fundraising efforts is our Online Auction. The Auction goes live on October 9 and culminates following our 4th annual IGNITE! season launch party, this year at KWENCH on October 25. From the comfort of your home, we invite our supporters, friends, and fellow dance-lovers to support world-class dance in our community while bidding on exclusive items and experiences.
All proceeds from the Online Auction and IGNITE! live event benefit Dance Victoria’s artist support and community engagement programs, including our annual Artist Residency program in DV’s Quadra Village studios; free community masterclasses and movement workshops; and ticket access programs. Dance Victoria Society is a non-profit organization with the mission to cultivate a connection to dance by presenting and supporting diverse local, national, and international artists, and inspiring all communities through the magic of dance. Our vision is that everyone in Greater Victoria can experience the transformative power of world-class dance.

"IGNITE! A Dance Victoria Launch Party" takes place on October 25, 7-10 pm at KWENCH (2031 Store Street). Guests will enjoy an intimate duet performance by Ballet Edmonton (last seen by Victoria audiences in 2023 in Dance Victoria's 2023 co-presentation with the Victoria Symphony) alongside tastings and cocktails curated by Phillips Brewing Co. featuring their small-batch distilled spirits. The evening will be rounded out with delicious savoury bites, sweet creations from Chocolat & Co., plus DJ LoFi on deck for dancing and mingling among fellow arts-lovers.
