As Rowing Canada launches into our Olympic program this summer, we have 11 women targeting medals in Paris. We also have a group of athletes that are already building towards the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. These are the next generation of up and coming rowers in Canada. Part of their racing experience this year is attending a famous race called Henley Royal Regatta, in the UK. With most of RCA’s budget supporting the Olympic program there is a large portion of this Henley race that is self-funded by the athletes. Being on meager budgets, the group is hosting a Henley themed Garden Party fundraiser this Friday, June 14th, including a silent auction. It is hosted by the Maple Bay Rowing Club, in Duncan BC. All the proceeds are directly supporting the athletes getting to this regatta.

The silent auction will be open for bidding online starting Wednesday, June 12th and will end one hour before the end of the in-person Garden Party Fundraiser at 8:00pm on Friday, June 14th! We will be adding new items throughout the week. If the highest bid is present at the Garden Party, they will be able to receive the item before leaving in-person. Otherwise, we can organize a Victoria/Duncan area drop-off or pick-up to get the item to you! *Please note, deliveries can only be made in these cities.* Please email for all inquiries about delivery.
