As one of Victoria’s leading arts organizations, Pacific Opera Victoria has a long history of supporting emerging artists. This season, Pacific Opera is hosting a special fundraising event on June 15, 2024 at the Baumann Centre: For All to Hear – a concert and auction benefitting emerging artists in our Citizen Artist Residency Program. Our event will feature the final signature concert of our artist residents along with a wonderful auction, cocktail reception, and artist meet-and-greet. Tickets are $100 with a $50 tax receipt.

His works are in public art gallery collections from Prince Edward Island to Vancouver Island, including the National Gallery of Canada, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2001 for his excellence in the field of visual art. His autobiography A Speaking Likeness (Ronsdale Press) was published in 1999.
